GroundLux Scapes LLC | Synthetic Turf & Outdoor Living Solutions

1. Your Right to Cancel

As a client, you have the legal right to cancel your agreement with GroundLux Scapes LLC within three (3) business days of signing — no fees or obligations. To cancel, simply write "I hereby cancel" at the bottom of the agreement and return a signed copy to us in person or by U.S. Mail.

2. Pricing & What’s Included

Your total project price covers labor, materials, delivery, and cleanup. Please note that building permits are not included in your initial quote and will be billed separately if required by your city or municipality.

3. Payment Schedule

To keep your project running smoothly, payments are broken down by key milestones. Each payment is due within 24 hours of reaching that stage:

  • 20% deposit – secures your project in our schedule

  • 40% materials payment – due 2–4 weeks before work begins

  • 20% mid-project payment – due halfway through

  • 20% final balance – due upon substantial completion

“Substantial completion” means the project is finished and ready to use, even if minor finishing touches remain. Permit inspections do not affect this payment schedule.

4. Final Touch-Ups (Punch List)

If there are any outstanding items at the end of the job, please submit them in writing within 5 days of substantial completion. We’ll take care of those items within 5 business days, unless there’s a weather delay or we’re waiting on special materials.

5. Materials & Site Access

All materials delivered to your property are the responsibility of the homeowner to store safely. Any extra or leftover materials belong to GroundLux Scapes LLC and are not refundable.

We also ask that you provide reasonable access to the site within 15 days of scheduling, and allow consistent access until the work is complete. Electricity and water must be available at no cost for our crew’s use during construction.

6. Cancellations & Disputes

If the agreement is cancelled after the 3-day window, or if the project is interrupted due to default or delay by the client, we reserve the right to recover damages. This may include:

  • Cost of custom materials

  • Labor and equipment expenses

  • Overhead and profit up to 15% of the contract total

  • Legal fees if necessary

Any dispute related to your project will be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Texas under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The process will be confidential and managed by a neutral arbitrator familiar with construction law.

7. Photo Use Consent

We love showcasing our work — and your project may be featured in our online portfolio or marketing materials. By signing with us, you allow GroundLux Scapes LLC to take and use photos of your completed project. You won’t be entitled to any compensation or royalties for this use.

8. Building Standards & Project Changes

All of our work is designed and built in line with 2018 IRC (International Residential Code) standards unless otherwise agreed upon. If unexpected requirements arise — such as city engineering demands or additional permits — we may need to adjust the project scope or cost accordingly.
