Refund Policy
GroundLux Scapes LLC
At GroundLux Scapes LLC, we value transparency and fairness. Our refund policy is designed to protect both the client and our team, while maintaining the integrity of our project scheduling and material procurement process.
1. Right to Cancel (Full Refund Eligibility)
Clients have the right to cancel their project agreement within 3 business days of signing, with no penalties or obligations. In this case, any payments or deposits made will be fully refunded within 5–7 business days of written cancellation.
2. Deposits & Payments (Non-Refundable After 3 Days)
After the 3-day cancellation window:
-
The 20% deposit becomes non-refundable, as it secures your place in our schedule and covers administrative and planning costs.
-
The 40% materials payment is also non-refundable once materials are ordered or delivered, as these are custom allocated to your project and may not be returnable.
-
Milestone and final payments are non-refundable once work associated with that phase is completed.
3. Cancellations After Work Begins
If a project is cancelled by the client after work has begun, refunds will not be issued for completed phases. Any materials already ordered, work performed, or labor scheduled will be deducted from any remaining balance, and GroundLux Scapes LLC reserves the right to seek compensation for damages, lost time, and overhead costs (up to 15% of the contract value), as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
4. Project Delays or Rescheduling
If a client needs to reschedule the project start date, we require at least 5 business days’ notice. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the initial deposit.
5. Quality Guarantee
We stand behind our craftsmanship. If you believe there is an issue with the quality or scope of your project, please notify us within 5 business days of substantial completion. We will address valid concerns in accordance with the original agreement.
Please note that this refund policy does not apply to changes in personal preferences, scope changes after approval, or project delays caused by external factors (e.g., weather, city permits, or client inaccessibility).
